Organic Calendula & Shea Butter Skin Salve

Suitable for all skin types, particularly dry, itchy, eczema and dermatitis skin.

Olea Europaea (Organic Olive) Fruit Oil, Calendula Officinalis (Organic Calendula) Flower Extract, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Glycine Soja (Organic Soya Bean) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic Shea) Butter, Euphorbia Antisyphilitica (Candelilla NF) Wax, Citrus Sinensis (Australian Sweet Orange) Oil, Anthemis Nobilis (Roman Chamomile) Oil.

Whilst our salve is organic, it may still contain ingredients that your skin isn't compatible with. Pure essential oils and botanical extracts are a force of nature.

If this is your first time using this product and especially if you are prone to skin sensitivities, we recommend patch testing before use. This can be done by applying a small amount to your forearm and waiting 24 hours to see if irritation occurs. If it does, please discontinue use. If irritation persists, we recommend consulting your medical practitioner.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you may want to speak with your health care practitioner for further guidance before using products that contain essential oils.

Apply to dry skin as needed.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. If irritation continues, seek medical advice.

Store below 25 degrees Celcius.

TIP: If your salve does experience significant temperature fluctuations and you find it becomes a little grainy:

1. Take off the lid.
2. Place your jar in the sun or in front of the heater to melt a little.
3. Once soft, pop your jar straight into the fridge until set again. This should return your salve to its original state.

Note: Occasionally a small amount of liquid Calendula extract can be found at the base of your jar, particularly if the product has been exposed to temperature extremes. This is normal and won’t impact the efficacy of the salve.

Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours unless otherwise advised. Our Botanical Candles are made to order, so please allow 3-5 business days for dispatch of these items.
